Suya game cheats? Tips and answers
Is Mai Suya free?
Yes. Every meat, place and upgrade is earned with the naira you make at the grill. There is nothing to buy with real money and nothing to download.
Can I play Mai Suya on phone and tablet?
Yes. It runs in the browser on Android phones, iPhones and iPads, laid out for a phone held upright, and switches to a wide layout on a tablet or a computer.
Do I need to sign up?
No. The stall saves in this browser as you play, and a save code moves it to another device without an account. Signing in with your email (no password) is optional: it keeps your stall in the cloud for every device you sign in on, whenever the game’s email service is on.
How long is a night?
From 19:00 to 01:00 in game time, which is 2.5 minutes of real play. The first two nights are shorter, 2 minutes.
What is suya?
A popular Nigerian street food: thin strips of beef or other meat on sticks, rubbed with yaji (a dry spice usually built on ground roasted peanuts and chilli) and grilled over charcoal. It comes from northern Nigeria, is now sold in many places, and is often eaten in the evening.
What does mai suya mean?
In the Hausa language, “mai” means one who has or deals in something, so a mai suya is the person who grills and sells suya. In the game that is you, and “Mai Suya” is also the title your stall earns after night 3.
Why did my skewer burn?
It stayed on too long. A beef skewer is ready for 4 s and overdone for 4 s more on medium heat, less on high. A missed flip gets there sooner: a skewer not flipped in its window goes straight to overdone, its second side skipped, and burns 4 s later. Tap it onto the plate before it burns, where it stops cooking: each burn smokes for 5 seconds and scares a customer away.
How do I flip neatly?
Tap the skewer while it says “Flip!”: you have 4 s for beef on medium heat, or 2.9 s on high. A neat flip adds 10% to the price and 0.5 stars; an early one makes the second side slower.
Why did a customer leave?
Their patience ran out (the ring around their speech bubble), black smoke from a burnt skewer scared them off, or you said no to their haggle. Tables and chairs make everyone wait longer.
What is NEPA?
NEPA was the National Electric Power Authority, Nigeria’s old power company. It was replaced years ago, but some people still use the name for a power cut. In the game, a NEPA night turns the lights off and the stall glows by its coals.
How do I unlock Lekki?
Earn ₦200,000 in total takings (sales and tips, all nights added up). Surulere and Ikeja open on the way, at ₦30,000 and ₦80,000.
Which upgrade should I buy first?
The first levels of tables and chairs (₦1,000) and the signboard (₦1,000) are cheap and help at once; the grill’s level 1 adds slots for busier nights. Buy a cooler (from ₦5,500) before Lekki.
What is a regular?
A customer whose haggle you accepted. Regulars come back on 25% of nights each and wait longer than other customers; the stall remembers up to 12.
Can I play Mai Suya on PC?
Yes, in any browser. A wide window gets the wide layout, the mouse works, and every grill action has a key: number keys for the slots, Space to flip, G and H to lower and raise the heat, Q to R for the customers and P to pause.
